Lysøysundet is a charming village centrally located on the coast in Norway. There are about 400 permanent residents here, and we have our own shop and school.
Coop Prix Lysøysund is 200 m away from the facility and has a post and pharmacy. Here you find most of what you need, but if you do not go shopping in Bjugn or at Brekstad.
Driv is located 50 meters beyond the store.

Lysøysundet is approx. 1.5 hours drive from Trondheim and 2 hours from Trondheim Airport Værnes. If you come from the north you can turn off on the ASP on the E6 and drive about ore and Verrabotn.
When you arrive at Lysøysundet it is well signposted for Ankeret Brygge.
There are also direct flights from Oslo-Brekstad, which is approx. 30 minutes away from Lysøysundet. This allows you to get here from Gardemoen in about 2 hours. The route is operated by DAT .
There are also frequent departures Oslo-Trondheim, and directly to Trondheim from various other locations.
In season (1st of October 1), the facilities are reserved for our fishing tourists, and the minimum stay on the online booking set at 7-12 days. Apart from that you can book as much/little as you want.
You can also contact us in season to request a shorter stay.
Check -in is from. 14:00, and check -out is no later than at. 10:00. Contact us if you need previous check -in or later check -out and we will try to accommodate it if possible.
All our apartments are fully equipped with kitchens (including fridge, stove, coffee maker, and necessary kitchenware), private bathrooms, bedding and towels.
You will also find a TV and a dining area in each apartment, as well as free wifi. The apartments give you everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Yes, there is a freezer available to all apartments, except for the two smallest behind the anchor.
We appreciate our guests pay attention to other visitors and keep it tidy in the common areas. Also remember that it is important to respect the nature around us and take back waste after fishing trips.
In season (April 1, October), the boats are reserved our rorbug guests, and can only be booked on the web between 7-12 days.
It is still possible to contact and hear if we have any boats available.

The boat is flushed clean upon delivery, before inspecting and watching everything is fine.
The boats are equipped with modern sonar and GPS navigation.
Besides this you will find Stamp and Klepp on board.
Safety is a high priority with us. We have GPS tracking in most of our boats, so we can quickly find you whether a situation is to arise or that you need assistance.
We are reminiscent of the rules of sea , and ask that you always follow them for a safe experience on the sea. Remember that a floating jacket is also required on boats under 8m in Norway.
We have a whole new storage room for the floating bridge, right by the boats. This is available for all our guests, or people who rent a boat.
Fish waste should be driven out to sea and emptied there, and should not be fed into gulls or thrown outside the pier.
Tourist fishing facilities must report their guests' catches, and a guest must have customs documentation from facilities in order to take catching out of the country. We use Gofish for this, a complete solution for both facilities and guests.
Here you get access to a simple and clear guest portal, with relevant information, detailed charts, and security checks with guests before departure. You register the catch yourself when you come ashore.
